Our Staff
John Cook- John began employment with the agency in 1985 and serves as President and agency manager. He specializes in personal and commercial lines coverage.
Jim Buck- Jim began employment with the agency in 1983. He specializes in the sale of life and health products along with employee benefits. He is also active in the sale of commercial/business related insurance.
Darren Gunter- Darren joined The Rains Agency staff in 1997 and works in our Crossville location. He specializes in the sale of commercial and personal lines as well as life and medical coverage. Darren also is licensed to provide investment products such as mutual funds, annuities, and retirement plans.
Neil Wells- Neil started with the agency in 1975 and specializes in the sale of commercial and personal lines. He is also active in the sale of life and medical insurance coverage.
Sandy Bame- Sandy works in our Crossville location and sells and services all types of insurance coverage. She joined our staff in 2002 and also specializes in investment products.
Ruth Delk- Ruth joined Rains Agency in 1995 as a personal lines CSR. She specializes in the handling of all lines of personal insurance coverage.
Kathy Duggan- Kathy joined our operation in 1998. She is responsible for the handling and preparation of commercial insurance needs.
Wanda Duncan- Wanda, a commercial lines CSR, began employment with our agency in 1995. She specializes in the handling and preparation of commercial and business related risks.
Misty Hatfield- Misty joined our staff in 1999 and is in charge of bookkeeping for the agency.
Delana Miller- Delana is employed as a commercial lines CSR with the agency. Her employment began in 1999 and involves the preparation of business insurance coverage.
Jessica Parrott- Jessica currently serves as a customer service representative in our Cookeville office. She is licensed in life, health and property/casualty.
Angie Starr- Angie began employment with the agency in 1988. She specializes in life and medical coverage for individuals and groups. She also is responsible for the handling of property, casualty and health claims.
Lisa Turner- Lisa is employed as a personal lines CSR with the agency. Her employment began in 1994 and involves all areas pertaining to personal insurance such as home, auto, boat, farm, etc.
Chip Buck- Chip joined The Rains Agency in 2002. As the agent for our Cookeville office, he is licensed in life, health and property/casualty.
Lisa Pritchett- Lisa is a customer service representative in Crossville for all types of insurance coverages. She is licensed in life, health and property/casualty. She has been with The Rains Agency since 2003.
Brooke Lane- Brooke is our newest employee and will be servicing all types of insurance coverages in our Crossville office. Brooke is licensed in life, health and property/casualty.
Sarah Hedgecoth- Sarah started with The Rains Agency in 2003. She works with Angie Starr in the life and health department, and processes claims.
Gina Morgado- Gina is our receptionist at the Jamestown office. She has been with The Rains Agency since 2004.
Rebecca Dyer- Rebecca, a lifelong Putnam County resident, joined the Cookeville office in 2005 as a customer service representative and is available to discuss our insurance products.
